Alice Cawte is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Overseas, she has served in Beijing and Noumea, and was Representative of the Australian Commerce and Industry Office, Taiwan from 2008–2011.

DANNY ARMSTRONG

In March 2011 Danny joined the National Australia Bank as General Manager, China Banking and Country Head China based in Shanghai. Danny is Chair of the Bank’s China Risk, Pricing & Treasury Committee and is a member of the Bank’s Asian Leadership Team and Asian Risk Management and Balance Sheet Forum (ALCo) Committees. He is also a Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai and Chair of the Chamber’s Financial Services industry group.

Peter Arkell

Peter Arkell is the Managing Director of Swann Global’s Asia operations. Swann Global is an international executive search firm, founded in Melbourne in 1993 and, while its capability has been demonstrated across the breadth of industry, its special focus is the mining, metals and energy sectors. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the AustCham Shanghai since 2008. He is also a member and sustaining sponsor of the Global Mining Association of China (GMAC), and founding Chairman of the Oriental Mining Club. Melbourne is Peter’s hometown and he supports the Demons whenever he is within range of the MCG; while abroad he makes do with AFL broadcasts on the Australia Network. Having seen their last premiership in 1964, the desire beats true for their next flag.

Mr Rashleigh is Managing Director of Navy Health Ltd and has held his current position since he joined the company in July 1999. He has over 30 years experience in the Health Industry embracing health insurance, private hospitals and aged care facilities. He is a director and Acting Chairman of the Australian Health Service Alliance (AHSA) and President of the Health Insurance Restricted Membership Association of Australia (HIRMAA) and Chairman of the Australian Business Forum.
